Memorial Bend (also known as "The Bend") is one of Houston's most unique and desirable neighborhoods.

In 1958, it was proclaimed that Memorial Bend was a place for "country living with all the modern conveniences." That core attraction of the Bend has remained fundamentally intact even though the City of Houston and surrounding areas have undergone dramatic changes over the last half century.
